Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)
Sho Takeda, RMT, has worked with the healing arts for over 20 years. He specializes in Japanese acupuncture (licensed in Japan), shiatsu, trigger point therapy, and Swedish massage therapy.
A native of Osaka, Japan, Sho obtained a degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Kansai University of Health Sciences in 1999. Since then, he has worked as an acupuncturist and shiatsu therapist in various clinics in Osaka and Toronto.
Between 1999 and 2007, he worked in Acupuncture and Rehabilitation at the Muraki Cardio Surgery Clinic and at the Nishimori Anesthesiology Clinic in Osaka, Japan. He also worked at the Kyobashi Kita Osteopathic and Acupuncture Clinic in Osaka from 2009-2010.
Now a permanent resident of Canada, Sho is a graduate in Registered Massage Therapy at the Kikkawa College in Toronto. In 2014 he became a licensed Registered Massage Therapist in order to supplement his healing practice.
Sho practices at two Ottawa locations: Inline Health and Sports Injury Clinic in Westboro, and Blackburn Hamlet, Ottawa east.
He has provided massage and acupuncture services for marathons and track and field clubs, and is a personal trainer for a professional international dancer. Sho speaks both Japanese and English and lives with his wife and son in Ottawa.
